Social Club Misfits are back with their latest release Everyone Loves a Comeback Story. Many have asked what the album title came from and what it means. Social Club answered the question on their Twitter page, they said well it started with the story of Lazarus. The pharisees tried to kill Lazarus after he was resurrected. ( John 12:9-11) at first reading that I never gave it much thought. Then it hit me, they wanted to kill him because he was a walking miracle. He was proof that no man can stop Gods purpose. It’s not over until God says it is. Theres hope, his name is Jesus. I pray this album is more than music…but ignites a part of you that maybe felt like its over, when goals were watered down because of disappointment, when you are too tired to try again.
